Wayne County Community Foundation (WCCF) announces the appointment of Amy Mast to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, effective July 1st. Mast will represent the Dalton area on the Foundation’s 17-member Board.
A respected leadership coach, consultant, and educator, Mast brings a wealth of experience in leadership development, team dynamics, and personal growth. For the past seven years, she has worked with GiANT Worldwide, helping individuals, teams, and organizations unlock their potential through transformative leadership tools and coaching strategies.
Mast is a certified practitioner in the 5 Voices, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Predictive Index assessments. Through her work, she equips leaders with greater self-awareness, stronger communication skills, and the ability to build healthy, high-performing teams.
A graduate of Malone University, Mast’s professional background also includes nearly a decade as a licensed athletic trainer with Wooster Community Hospital, where she collaborated with physicians, administrators, coaches, athletes, and families to promote wellness, safety, and long-term success.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mast has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving her community. She volunteers with organizations including OHuddle, Habitat for Humanity, Night to Shine, and the Wayne County Humane Society. She has also invested in local youth through church-based leadership and personality development programs and is an active supporter of Dalton Local Schools. Her dedication to mentoring, community service, and helping others thrive reflects the values at the heart of the Community Foundation’s mission.
“We are pleased to welcome Amy to the Board of Trustees,” said Brent Steiner, Chair of the Wayne County Community Foundation Board. “Her passion for developing people, strengthening organizations, and serving the community will bring valuable insight and perspective to the Foundation as we continue working to improve the quality of life throughout Wayne County.”
Amy and her husband live in Dalton with their four sons. When not coaching leaders or volunteering in the community, she enjoys running trails, spending time outdoors, and supporting her family’s athletic pursuits.
Since 1978, the Wayne County Community Foundation has been working to strengthen the community we all share. It is a nonprofit charitable community organization.
